What is your role at Motis Estates?

As the Sales Manager, I’m responsible for the day to day running of our residential sales team. A large part of my role includes visiting local residents to carry out market appraisals, managing the marketing of our properties and finalising sales.

What is your background?

When I left school, I initially went to work for my family business in the motor industry where I spent the best part of a decade. I grew up around my parents investing in property and it was something I always found myself interested in, so in 2018 I took my first step into estate agency with a larger corporate estate agency. During my career I have been fortunate to work in a number of towns across East Kent, in various roles ranging from established, high volume branches to the opening of new offices. Having previously worked for corporate estate agencies, I often found myself wanting to provide a level of service to our customers that simply wasn’t possible, working for Motis gives me the opportunity to do that.

What are your objectives for Motis over the next 12 months?

I aim to continue to grow our sales team, centred around high levels of service and a proven track record of achieving results for our clients. With Motis already having a strong reputation in Folkestone for Lettings and Commercial Property, I hope to mirror this in Sales.

What do you enjoy doing outside of the office?

At weekends I’m often found at the beach or in the countryside with my wife, two daughters and our dog. In 2020 my wife and I upsized into a home that needed full renovation and I like to do as much of the work as possible myself when I have the time.

What is one thing that might surprise people about you?

I’m an unfortunate supporter of Reading FC and often take the trip up to see them play – Rarely winning, but it’s always a good day out!
